Workshop Structure: Relaxation & Meditation Workshop

 Following topics will be covered during a workshop:

  •  Mindfulness
  •  Happenings
  •  Purpose of Meditation
  •  Practical Training on Relaxation
  •  Practical Training on Meditation
  •  Practical Training on Peaceful Sleep

The first part of the workshop will teach relaxation techniques and prepare for meditation. The second part will further prepare for meditation. The third part will teach meditation and sound sleeping technique. The meditation session will start with an introduction which will explain the different methods and gather the information from attendees on their previous experience with relaxation and meditation techniques, and their applications in daily life. Following will be a talk on the technical aspects of our thinking, consciousness and residual effects (happiness and sadness) of happenings. Attendees will practice various exercises on the posture, sitting, mental observations and breathing. Following will be a guided meditation. Session will conclude with questions and answers.
